Johann Herbst:
He graduated from Stellenbosch University in 1973 and started practising in Reitz in the Free State
after his military service. In 1987 he exchanged the countryside for the coast and started this practice.

Hein Herbst:
He graduated from Stellenbosch University in 1998. After an internship and community service of two years, he worked in
Canada from 2000 to 2004. In 2004 Hein joined Herbst and Partners.

Deon Latsky:
He is originally from the Eastern Cape and also a Stellenbosch University graduate (2003). Deon practised
at various practices in the Boland region, until he joined Herbst and Partners on a permanent basis in 2008.

Anname van Zyl:
Anname is our newest addition to the team. She has deep roots in the area, having completed her school career in Strand
and tertiary education at Stellenbosch University. Anname is also a mom in a young family and will be able to assist you with any related issues.

Yolanda Whitehouse:
Yolanda is in charge of reception and of organizing our days. She will be your first contact with the
practice and will help you get access to the service you need. She is essentially the boss around here.

Hettie van der Westhuizen:
She has been the practice’s receptionist since 1988. In 2013 Hettie went back to her roots and will be taking
over the nursing responsibilities in the practice. Hettie was born in Mafikeng and completed her nurse training in
Kimberley. In 1979 Hettie and her husband moved to Somerset West, where they’ve been living happily ever since.

Suzette Sharper:
Suzette is our longest term employee. She started as receptionist in 1987 and later joined the administrative
department where she is in charge of accounts, enquiries and administration.

Jolanda Cornelissen:
Jolanda has been head of the administrative department since 2006. She grew up in Namakwaland as a country girl
and currently lives in Somerset West.

Ushaan du Plessis:
Ushaan is in charge of our Pharmacy. She has many years of experience in the pharmacy industry and will assist
you with all your acute and chronic medication related queries.

Kelly-Sue Coetzee:
Kelly-Sue Coetzee is our newest addition and helps out in the accounts department. She recently returned to the workforce
after spending some time doing charitable work. She is also involved with our social media profile.
